As Spoken Word Coordinator for the Merlin Theatre I organise various events in and around Frome:

Madabout Words - cabaret-style shows, encouraging local writers to perform their poems, prose & drama to an audience in an easy-going supportive atmosphere. Contact me directly or through the Merlin Theatre.

Poetry Cafes - open mic nights with top-class guests. These are usually held in the Garden Cafe. For current dates check Poetry Frome or 'Upcoming events' on my blog.

I'm a member of the Words @ Frome Festival team, which organises literary events for Frome Arts Festival each July. Frome is a vibrant town for writers, with classes and workshops led by local authors and a free group at the Library on the first Monday of every month. Information about all these can be found on the Readers and Writers table at Frome Library.
